Weekend in NC

Thursday evening, Todd and I took a walk through Central Park. Here are some pictures of the view, the ducks (upside down!) and the skyline.

On Friday morning, we took a 6 am flight back to NC. I spent Friday and Saturday in the garden, putting in my Spring and Summer vegetables, herbs and some flowers. Our blueberry bushes are looking great and already have a TON of blueberries on them. We just have to wait for them to ripen! We also spent a few hours checking out the progress on Downtown Durham's revitalization project, the Farmer's Market and several building spaces for potential lease for Heidi's bakery and cafe. We are both SO EXCITED about what the future holds for downtown Durham!

Saturday evening, we dressed up and drove out to Highgrove for Jamie's wedding. The place was gorgeous, the wedding was beautiful and we had a great time! Congratulations to Jamie and Steve on many, many years of sweetness, happiness and good times.
